A First-Person exploration thriller game based in Vietnamese folklore.
The game is a project that has been worked on for over a year and is still currently in development in my Capstone class with my team Rồng Studio.
What did I do?
Within the team of 6, I am the Lead Programmer and one of the Level Designer.
I have worked on the many things in this project such as: Game Mechanics, Enemy AI, UI, Tech Art, Systems Behind the Scenes, Level Design, and QA Testing
Game Mechanics:
Grabbing and Dropping Objects, Dropping Walls for Defense, and Searching Containers
Enemy AI:
Wyrm and Spirit Movement, Sight, Attack, and Final Arena Traps
UI:
Menus, Cutscenes, Loading Screens, and Credits
Tech Art:
Cutscenes, Integration of Models, Particles, and Lighting
Systems:
Respawn, Progression, Tutorial, and Save Data
Level Design:
Coming Up with the Final Design of the Village, Arena Parkour, Helped Improve Continuity Through the Story, and Improved Natural Placement of Furniture and Other Objects in the Game
QA Testing:
Running Inperson and Online Play Testing
The game is being developed in Unity 2022, being programmed in C#.
